Gold Mining Equipment at Lyndon Engineering

Lyndon Engineering are pleased to have begun works for a well renowned gold mining company in New Zealand, working on the refurbishment of their industrial gold mining equipment at our West Christchurch workshop. The first work to be undertaken is the re-meshing of a large eight metre trommel, also known as a rotary screen, which is used to separate materials in the gold mining process. The team will spend the next week strengthening the trommel frame, and then re-laying new screen mesh, fitting over 450 bolts and manufacturing some additional design features suited to the customers next mining project.
