About Lyndon Engineering & Harrows

Based in Canterbury just west of Christchurch behind the I-Zone and I-Port industrial hubs, Lyndon Engineering has been designing and manufacturing engineering solutions since 1974 when David and Lynn Lyndon started the business in Kirwee. The business is now owned and operated by Elton Hyde and Rachelle Lyndon. Lyndon Engineering has over fourty five years experience and exposure in the New Zealand engineering market.

Our custom, industrial and structural engineering division has grown extensively over the last decade. The industrial engineering business supplies to local government councils, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health along with the expanding viticulture industry and many other industrial solutions.

The agricultural products division, known as Lyndon Harrows, is very important to the business with our harrow customers coming back to us across several generations all across New Zealand. Our harrows are consistently considered to be the best on the market in both design and fabrication, providing excellent ‘whole of life’ value against the many ‘imitations’ which have come and gone over the years. This division has expanded its offering and now supplies arena groomers, sub-soilers, track conditioners, viticulture soil aeration solutions and large hydraulic folding-frame soil conditioners into the New Zealand and Australian agricultural sector.
