Lyndon Engineering & Harrows (est 1974)
Lyndon Engineering & Harrows was founded in Kirwee, Canterbury, in 1974 by David and Lynn Lyndon. Back then it was to supply the local farming district with a limited range of Drill Harrows for seed covering and Zig Zag Harrows for cultivation work.
Over time the range of harrows increased to meet the modern needs of farming. Subsequently the client base expanded and we started supplying Harrows to a New Zealand wide client base covering large scale seed contractors, land converters, equine, small block holders and graziers. Our product range covers from 1.5 metres width up to 9 metres width in our hydraulic frame solutions
We have been attending and showcasing our vast array of Harrows at the New Zealand National Field Days and the South Island Field Days venues for more than twenty years. We manufacture the largest range of harrows available in New Zealand and take pride in the ability to provide a superior quality product.
The company has recently been purchased by Rachelle Lyndon and her husband Elton Hyde, and they intend to further develop the engineering division and secure an even stronger position in the supply of harrows nationwide.
In recent years the business has developed new engineering services that cover a range of manufacturing and industrial areas. We provide design and engineering fabrication solutions into the commercial transport, warehousing, irrigation, structural steel, mining and viticulture sectors.
Due to the long term service and dedication of our loyal team, we have great confidence in our ability to provide sound advice for our customers ensuring they receive a quality engineering solution to suit their application. We are also able to modify existing equipment to meet the specific needs of our clients.
